MEET CHEF KRISTIN O'CONNOR

MEET CHEF KRISTIN O'CONNOR

Kristin O’Connor is a published author, private chef and a notoriously enthusiastic champion of human health, environmental health and philanthropy.

Her devotion to this philosophy has been tested time and time again while cooking in unlikely places, under unique circumstances: the galley of a boat in the Pacific Ocean, a cook-truck in the middle of Manhattan, or a modest kitchen in the desert of Morocco. Even with the most limited resources, nothing has stopped her from maintaining the integrity of the food that she prepares for her clients, friends and family. From each destination, she has brought back new inspiration, resulting in food that redefines ‘healthy.’ Kristin always cooks gluten-free, and limits soy and dairy — focusing on the quality of food while using as many ingredients as possible that will benefit health and wellness. Kristin’s food is inventive, intuitive and packed with nutrition, but never lacking in flavor — you can taste the careful thought in every bite.

HEALTH  FOOD  ENVIRONMENT  PHILANTHROPY

It’s a pretty simple concept that makes a whole lot of sense…

Give where you take

With each choice we make as a consumer, we have the power to make an impact on the planet. Buying chemical cleaning supplies for your home and using pesticides on your lawn,  increases toxic overload in landfills and contaminates water sources -- directly impacting the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. The great news is that by making small changes each day, we can reverse this process and instead choose health — health for our planet, health for our neighborhood and health for ourselves.

Our philosophy is to apply this very simple symbiotic relationship to everything that we do (and have a little fun while doing it!). Give health, get health. When we are thoughtful about the recipes we create, the products we use to clean our kitchens, the way in which we store our food, and even the products we put out into the marketplace.  We have the power to live better and to feel better.
