My new obsession.

I’m fairly sure it’s more about the color than the taste, but the taste is fantastic too so this one's a toss up.

I have this new morning routine that stemmed from making fresh pressed juices for my client at 5 am…and if you have the juicer out - you better make good use of it. So after making his drink, I press a fresh beet through and this incredibly vibrant magenta colored juice cascades out. I pour that over a handful of kale and spinach I picked up at the farmers market, top it off with about half a cup of almond milk, sprouted rice protein and a few slices of banana – whir it with an immersion blender and it is heaven in a cup. You're going to love every sip. 

Plus there's something so sexy about that color.

Btw- you can buy beet juice…just in case you don't have a juicer.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup beet juice
1 cup baby spinach
1/2 cup torn kale
1/3 banana
1 cup almond milk
1-2 tablespoons sprouted rice protein

Method:
Blend all ingredients until smooth and drink immediately.
